Fed: China, Aust sign mutual legal assistance treaty

Australia and China have signed a treaty to boost cooperation in crime-fighting.

China's Foreign Minister LI ZHAOXING and his Australian counterpart ALEXANDER DOWNER
signed the deal.

Justice Minister CHRIS ELLISON says it allows both countries to help each other investigate
and prosecute serious crime.
